I HATE MACGAMUT!

Music Majors have to take sight singing and we have homework on the computer called MacGAMUT. It is a program that is supposed to train to hear notes, intervals, scales, etc and then be able to identify them. This program. SUCKS. First the installation process was confusing. You had to install it. Get these presets from your teacher, save them to your desktop. then download a startup file. Normally when you open a program you click on the icon. Well for this you click on the start up file. You have to send the start up file to the teacher for a grade. The program is no at all easy. You have to get so many right to pass to the next level. I spent one hour doing one of the exercises and got none of them right. so, I gave up. and if you dont finish the homework, you get an F. (its a pass-fail kinda thing.) but if i do it and then send it, its counted as late the highest grade you get is a B-. You have to do this program and pass it in order to pass the class. I HATE IT!

My top 3 movies! And then some..

1. Harry Potter- I am always looking forward to seeing what i read on the big screen. I think that my favorite one is is the 6th, then 5,3,4,2,1. I think the oldest ones are last on my list because they are the beginning. You are still finding out who the characters are. I prefer the movies with more action. I am looking forward for the last two movies, but at the same time i'm not ready for the series to end! If you are someone who just sees the movies, I would suggest reading the series. They have left out information necessary to understanding the full background.
2. Transformers 2 - I actually did not want to see the first one at all I thought it looked stupid and something i wouldnt be interested in. But I was talked into seeing it and it became one of my favorite movies. The second one was tons better than first (and not just because of megan fox, but that is a plus!) I thought the movie was intense and filled with action. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time.
3. X-men origins: wolverine- I have started like the x-men saga recently and this newest addition is filled with action and information to the origins (hence the title) of wolverine. I didnt know what to expect and I want to see it again!

I also like Knocked up, marley and me, alien vs predator, POC, The dark knight. I just like movies in general. I want to see the hangover, the last house on the left, and superbad.

I have started liking horror movies. I used to hate horror movies because as i little kid I got nightmares all the time. Now I live for them. If you know of any good ones let me know! (Has anyone seen halloween 2 yet, ? is it even out, if so how is it?

My first week of school at BSU.

So I definitely feel that the first week of school was one of the worst weeks of my life. I was stressing out from the homework piling up, I was exhausted after having just finished the most intense band camp. Band camp was thirteen hours a day and it was extremely hot. I wasn't used to walking to class and not seeing one familiar face. In high school I had classes with all the same people and we would all go to class together. It took me a while to get used to have to use blackboard for some of the classes. Its different having to be responsible for making sure you know what the homework is. That first weekend after school let out, I went home and hung out with some of my friends. One friend goes to Uindy, another went to IU but transerferred to Uindy because she wanted to live at home (uindy is maybe 5 minutes from our houses) and another Xavier in Cincinnati, ohio. I felt better after talking to them because we all felt the same way about our first weeks of school. And im sure that there are other BSU people who felt the same. But now that we are almost done with our third week of school, im starting to fall into a routine and i will walk with people that i know from band. I hear that the first semester is difficult to adjust to, but the second semester is way better.

No idea

So I dont exactly know what i want to write about in my memior. I have a list of things i could write about, but I dont know if i like them. So, im just gonna ramble about one of the things i have down.... im not going to use this one, i cant write enough about it!

The summer before my senior year in high school was spent either making breadsticks at donatos or practicing with the marching band. I finally had a break so i called my friends to hang out and we decided we were gonna meet and and then drive to another friend's house and convice him to hang out with us.
Both of my parents being cops, I was taught to drive cautiously, and well, you can probably imagine how it would be. Seatbelts, mirrors, no loud music, hands on 10 and 2, signal every turn, come to complete stops, how fast are you going, no cell phone! So I as was driving to my friends house, what was i doing? Talking on my cell phone. The road that I was driving is a speed trap. There are always cops. I was going 42. 42 and talking on my cell phone. The cop pulls me over, and I had no idea what i did. I couldnt breathe. I was panicing, I couldnt find the registration... I couldnt even answer him to tell him where i was going. I just made a wierd wheezing noise. The speed limit was 30. Ticket. I was so upset that i didnt even call my friends to tell them i was going home. I was so mad. When I got my licensed I told myself i was never going to get one. When I came home, I handed my parents the ticket, and went to my room. I was punishing myself before my parents could take my license away. I didnt drive the next day, nor the day after that. Later I found out that my parents did not even care that i got the ticket. They didnt take my license away like i thought they would. Now i never speed.
One day when i was going to a high school football game, I was driving on the highway to get the school, and an ambulence was in my blind spot, and turned its siren on. I thought it was a cop i started to pull over and hyperventalate! I always think that cops are watching me now!
